Aromatheraphy candle is harmful in air-cond room?

Came across this 'article' and would like professional advice...
Do I get any from Dr. T.K. Khoo?

---------------------------------------------------------

Heard of a bad news regarding Charleine, who studied in MSMKL with some of us.
She passed away last weekend due to carbon monoxide poisoning.
It happened when she lighted an aromatheraputic candle for the night in a room with air-conditioning on and all windows closed.
Due to lack of oxygen in the room, the burning of the candle cannot fully oxidized & thus forming dangerous carbon monoxide.
Carbon monoxide will prevent oxygen exchange in the lungs, resulting the person dozing off to state of unconsciousness & eventually death inless than 1 hour, depending on the room size!

nah. that's a well-known chain letter that's been circulated since 2004. see http://www.breakthechain.org/exclusives/accandle.html

the amount of CO that's released should be minimal. unless you're in a closet with hundreds of candles burning. certainly not enough to kill someone. the door/windows may be closed but it's still not gonna be airtight.
