Extra items for Mr.Santa

Dear Santa,

I just realized I've left out a few items from my letter to you earlier.
I hope you will take these 2 items into considerations.
I would very much appreciate it.

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T50 Digital Camera @ RM1,699
0% easy payment scheme @ RM149 monthly

I fancy the red one.

OR

Sony Ericsson K800i.
I don't mind either one.

How much can it cost?

My dear house phone is out AGAIN - 12 floors onwards to be specific.
Those lovely uninvited visitors came and took out phone wires from 12 floors onwards as souvenir.
Thus, we are out of phone & Internet connection for 1 week now.
And the usual management will take their own sweet time to sort it out.

I really wonder how much they can get out of it.
Why can't they get a proper job and earn for their living?
I just don't understand.

Can't wait to move out of this zoo. (yes i refer this place as zoo... it's not for human... i don't fit in here)
I'm counting the days.........

Current addiction - Dicey Business (TVB Series)

"Dicey Business" is the official English title for "Dou Cheung Fung Wan".

This series contain 35 episodes and was aired on November 20 in Hong Kong. The cast includes Bobby Au Yeung, Michael Miu Kiu Wai, Jessica Hsuan, Bosco Wong Chung Chak, and Tavia Yeung Yi. The series will center on gambling and casino operations. With Bobby and Jessica as gambling addicts, Michael as a casino manager, Bosco as a gifted gambling player, and Tavia as Bosco's love interest, the series boasts a blockbuster cast and powerhouse acting not to be missed!

The talented gambling artist, Cheung (Bobby Au Yeung), entered a worldwide card-playing tournament when he was 18 years old and was regarded as the favorite to win. However due to the follies of youth, Cheung was seduced by Yan (Florence Kwok), who was Chor’s (Michael Miu’s) girlfriend. Due to the distraction, Cheung also became separated from his 3 year old younger brother, Lok (Bosco Wong). In the finals tournament, Cheung could not concentrate on his game and lost the competition. Without using much effort, Chor was able to attack Cheung on multiple levels.

Since his defeat, Cheung gambled compulsively to forget his pain. However, each time he gambled, he lost and accumulated massive debts. Cheung finally ended up destitute in the Philippines. Luckily he encountered Wing (Benz Hui) who helped Cheung to quit his gambling habit.

Cheung was grateful for Wing’s help and turned over a new leaf. Due to Wing’s connection, Chor disregarded his past run-in with Cheung and gave him a job at the casino, allowing Cheung to pay off his gambling debts. Cheung, Wing, and Chor became good friends.

And the story goes on…………

I have to say that Bosco Wong is extremely adorable in this show.
I totally fell in love with the cast.
(Yes… I know I sounded like a teenage girl… so what? I’m young at heart… Hehehe!)

This is a recommended series. It's hilarious as well... I laughed my heart out in most of the episodes.

Frustrating-nya!

I can't seem to be able to transfer pictures from my mobile to this laptop...
It's frustrating!
I've been waiting so long to upload pictures to share with y'all and it's not happening this weekend... So frustrating when thing doesn't go as planned!
Argh!

The inner side of Karen kept saying "take a deep breath Karen... no point being frustrated... take it easy and think... there has to be a way... stay calm and think..................."

I will surely find a better way to do this...
Just give me some time...
Nothing is impossible, aye?

---------------------------------------------------

I just wanna let out my frustration... hehehe!
There's no place that I can do so... thus, this is the best place!
Coz nobody will ask me to stop whinning, get over it, or whatsoever.
If it's not the kinda entry that you wanna read, then stop reading.
If you have something to say about it, just drop me a line or two, if not, then don't.

Isn't this place a wonderful place to let out all your happiness and sorrows?
Best place for those who does not know how to show their feelings.
Loved it!

It's outrageous!

Just to name a few tol increment in major KL highways:

Kesas Highway - increase RM0.70 (new price : RM2.20)
LDP - increase RM0.60 (new price : RM1.60)

I do not need to list out the rest...
Above-mentioned is already freaking out Malaysian citizens.

My daily expenses on tol(s) is RM8.80 (two-way) according to the new pricing.
It's a 5 days job.
Thus, one month I'll spend RM176 on tol itself!

Living expenses is always going up, but salary remain idle.
What kind of philosophy is this?

Dear Santa...

I've been a good girl this year. Apart from ignoring those "blinds" ever since the incident early this year, I have been really nice to mother nature - throwing rubbish into the bin (once in a while I do throw tiny winny paper out of the car-lah! hehe), I have been cleaning my room and abide government rules - red is stop, green is go and yellow is go faster!

Therefore, I believe I have earned enough brownie points to provide you with my very merry Christmas wishlist. Considering I do not have a chimney for you to sneak into my house when I was pretending to be asleep, I will kindly provide you with my house key. You may find it underneath the doormat.

#1 - Mazda 6 for myself

#2 - Subaru Impreza for my bb

#3 - Burberry handbag for myself, preferably pink or blue in colour.

#4 - Holiday trip for my parents. Shanghai or Seoul will be good. They have been working very hard for us. Time to relax and rejuvenate will be superb for them.

#5 - Tissot women watch for myself. Yes, I know I am asking for too much. But my watch is very old-lah.

#6 - PSP and Playstation 3 for my bb. He collects them. A very expensive hobby indeed.

#7 - RM10,000 voucher for home furnishing. No money to renovate my new house. =(

#8 - Major and non-recoverable problem with Ambank, UOB and HSBC system. Delete all my debts from my loan accounts. No more car loan, study loan and credit card debts. Yahoooooooo!!!

#9 - Career advancement and better career opportunity, which will lead to financial independence.

#10 - Last but not least... World peace! (hahaha! Yeah I know it's very lame... like going for some beauty pageant contest... sue me!)

I guess that's about it, Santa! I would like to show you my deepest appreciation for your kindness.

I need ice to cool me down

I was just talking about bonding in the office in the earlier entry.
Let's screw that. It's impossible to happen. Yes, let me repeat - IMPOSSIBLE.

They are just too ignorance and no team spirit.
Nobody or maybe close to zero member here think for the good of the company.
They are just too of themselves and selfish.

I once thought, colleagues can be friends.
But after close to 3 years in the working world. I have not seen that happening.
All i see are people going to work for the month end cash that they are gonna get, no passion in what they are doing, good to you when you did not request things from them, hate you when you need things to be done and scream at you when you need it urgently.

I did not blame them for being all stressed up with deadlines.
It's true that there are durations set for certain task, but hey, face the fact that not everything will go as planned. And we need to adapt to changes. Nothing is perfect alright?
Do you want to be like dinasour? They extinct because they did not adapt to changes.
Try to put yourself in the client servicing shoe, it's not easy as well.
We are trying to deliver the best to client for the company's goodwill, but at the same time we need to take good care of internal staff feelings?
It's not easy. Nobody will understand. And they wouldn't want to understand.

I just couldn't stand the fact that people here are so lacking of manners.
I have a lot more to say, but I do not wish to reveal too much here.

--------------------------

Never EVER talk to me like that, Mr.Know-It-All (as if!). You do not have the right.

Smiles in CSM

CSM organized a pre-Christmas party yesterday @ the mezzanine training room.
No doubt it was awesome and it did bring everyone together in regards of rank, status and race.
Though it was just a 2 hours get-together, but I am sure bonding between colleagues are much stronger now after 1 year of hardwork, shouting, stressed up, scratching heads and tears.
It all ends with joy and laughter.
It is indeed a good 2006!

Pictures will be uploaded soon.
Be sure to re-visit and drop me 1 or 2 of your sarcastic comment.
Cheerios!

Aromatheraphy candle is harmful in air-cond room?

Came across this 'article' and would like professional advice...
Do I get any from Dr. T.K. Khoo?

---------------------------------------------------------

Heard of a bad news regarding Charleine, who studied in MSMKL with some of us.
She passed away last weekend due to carbon monoxide poisoning.
It happened when she lighted an aromatheraputic candle for the night in a room with air-conditioning on and all windows closed.
Due to lack of oxygen in the room, the burning of the candle cannot fully oxidized & thus forming dangerous carbon monoxide.
Carbon monoxide will prevent oxygen exchange in the lungs, resulting the person dozing off to state of unconsciousness & eventually death inless than 1 hour, depending on the room size!

Shopaholic?

I'm back!
Just wanna update those who reads... what I've been up to last weekend and this weekend...
Not gonna write much this time, coz I'm getting lazy-lah! (the fact is... no one reads... hehe)
Thus, I'm just gonna let those pictures to do all the talking.

25th November 2006 - Saturday @ Bintang Walk

Finally!
The Louis Vuitton gallery was up for God-knows-how-many-months-now... with the usual branding for their outlet - the huge monogram design.
Darren & I decided to give ourselves a tour.
That less-than-an-hour-tour ended up with 2 fantastic looking paper bag & a hole in our pocket.

Apart from that, I got myself a new wallet and a pair of shoe from Vincci.
They are absolutely lovely!
Another hole in my pocket. *cold sweat*

26th November 2006 - Sunday @ Tropicana Golf & Country Resort

All ready to Mr. & Mrs Sim Jr.'s wedding luncheon.

As you can see, i've got the ugly looking fringes - outcome of not being patient.
Am looking 5 years older until the pathetic looking fringes grow to its usual length.
Never ever try new hair stylist. Be patient and just wait for your hair stylist though the queue is long! (Mei, did I cure your curiosity?)

2nd December 2006 - Saturday @ Sunway Pyramid

Just a casual sunny Saturday afternoon.
Had an appointment with the dentist to get my chipped tooth fixed.
Yes - chipped it when I was young, enjoying the tomato crab. *shy shy*

Then went over to Pyramid for a little walk.
Ended up with items below.
*sigh... so skint now... anyone wanna donate bread for the rest of the week?*

No intention to get the necklace at all, but wanna make up the amount to get a free jewellery box & I Loewe You perfume.
