She knows that truth might hurt,
She knows why he hides it,
She knows she will never get the answer out of him,
But she just couldn’t keep it inside her.

She took the courage to ask,
She was hoping for a tiny bit of honesty,
He was avoiding,
He was pretending.

She was let down,
She was hurt,
So much that he will never understand.

She knew she’ll always be second,
She was just hoping,
That time will change everything,
That her effort will be worthwhile,
But she was wrong.

She just couldn’t stop that feeling inside her,
That feeling of being torn apart,
That feeling of being taken for granted,
That feeling of not being able to share her ups & downs with him.

She just wants honesty from him, though it might hurt,
She just wants to know the truth,
Nothing but the truth.
